Facilities
Parklands Gold Coast is a multi use facility administered by the Trustees of Southport Showground Recreation and Racecourse Reserve. The complex is situated only 5kms from the centre of Southport, and covers an area of 47 hectares (116 acres).
The Trust is a non-profit organisation appointed by the Queensland Government and is registered to operate the Parklands facility and its affairs under the business name of Parklands Gold Coast.
Parklands Gold Coast is home to the Gold Coast Show Society, Gold Coast Harness and Gold Coast Greyhound Racing Clubs who operate from and control these respective activities. Parklands also has six function rooms that can accommodate 40 to 800 guests, which are available for corporate functions and conferences, private functions and weddings.

Showgrounds General Features GENERAL: 30 outdoor service boxes with 20 to 30 amp power and water
POWERED SITES: Up to 10 or 15 amp in each green box plus 3 phase available in most boxes
AMENITIES BLOCK: Male - 4 showers, 2 toilets (1 disabled), 1 urinal
SHOWGROUND TOILETS: Male - 3 toilets (1 disabled)
